Leads List, Your Greatest Asset

Sometimes we think that  material things we can see are our assets in business. Say for example, the bank account, or perhaps the lack of a bank account, which mocks our efforts in business building.  Do you consider the car you drive or the clothes your wear; the places you take your business associates to as your measurable asset?

I'm going to suggest that there is an huge intangible value to the efforts you have made to build your contact list. When you contribute through the content in your blog,or, in online content something that is pertinent to your market, you will attract the attention of readers who come to you for more information. These names and opt-in leads are invaluable as a pool of people to whom you can continue to provide service to.

I am not talking about taking liberty to bombard these people with lead capture pages or sales pages. This list is not yours to exploit with brazen marketing gimmicks.  These names represent men and women who are,at some level, drawn to online marketing. Their attention has been caught by the idea that maybe, just maybe, they can make something happen to make a difference in their lives. In this day when hope seems ripped mercilessly from family lives with economic decisions far beyond their control, men and women are wanting to take back control of their future with network marketing.

For many, the internet represents a viable option to build a business for their families. As marketers who have the priviledge of having these names added to our leads list.  These names represent our greatest asset

These are men and women who are diligently looking for answers.  Answers we can provide and discover what is a match for them. It may be that beyond our affiliate marketing, our primary businesses may not be a fit for them, but, we can refer them to someone whose business does match their interests and talents more effectively.

Isn't that a wonderful thought? That as marketers, we can truly see what is in the best interest of our prospect even if it means they may "join" someone else's primary business after we have taught them the primary marketing skills.

Trust me it is a win win situation. One that creates a crediblity and freedom in marketing because we are not hovering like vultures to pull someone in.
